Bhopal,

The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), an autonomous body
under the Union Ministry of Education, is hosting a one-day national seminar on
“Urdu Medium Education in the Current Technological Landscape: Perspectives on
NEP 2020,” in the city of Nawabs tomorrow.
This
national seminar, being organized in collaboration with Maulana Azad National
Urdu University (MANUU) Regional Centre Bhopal, will witness the presence of
NCPUL Director Dr. Shams Equbal and MANUU Registrar Prof. Sk. Ishtiaque Ahmed.
While
sharing details about the seminar, Dr. Mohammad Ahsan, Regional Director of
MANUU Regional Centre Bhopal, stated, “The seminar is expected to foster
critical discussions on the promotion of Urdu language and education,
significantly contributing to the intellectual and cultural discourse.”

Commending
the support and patronage from the NCPUL, Dr. Mohammad Ahsan shared that the
event will be held at the scenic MANUU Bhopal Campus, and will bring together
scholars and experts from across the country to discuss key topics of
importance.
The
seminar will also feature distinguished speakers, including: Prof. A.R.
Fatihi, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, Prof. Aftab Afaqui,
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, and Dr. Shama Kausar Yazdani,
Assistant Director, NCPUL. In addition to these esteemed guests, other
renowned personalities presenting papers include: Prof. Nauman Khan,
NCERT, New Delhi, Mr. Iqbal Masood and many other notable
scholars.
The
inaugural session will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with
participation from dignitaries, faculty members, students, and other
distinguished attendees. The event aims to encourage rich dialogue and
collaboration among institutions, academicians, and policymakers.
